The Void

I was walking through a bright white, endless room. An enormous shadow was sitting ahead of me, its back facing me. It was talking to something inside an even bigger doorway covered in unreadable symbols. As I got closer, I thought I would be able to understand what they were talking about. I was curious about who was on the other side, but my gut instinct told me to stay back from the doorway. Then six eyes opened at once, looking directly at me. 

I jumped back and landed hard on the ground. The void laughed and smiled with perfectly white teeth. That smile made me turn and run for my life, as if the void said run or die without saying a word. I ran into a wall or something, but it knocked me out. I thought that I would wake up in the dream realm. I woke up back to reality after that.
