Mirrors
Mirrors (sleep) 10/19/2025
I was drifting off to sleep, thinking about my life up till now. I was laying on a vintage longe chair with red velvet covers. There was a large standing mirror, but it was covers with a black cloth. I was drawn to pull it off, but my arm didn’t dare to lift up to grab it. There a smaller hand held mirror on the side table. I was able to pick it up, only to find out the mirror was missing.
Looking at the larger mirror again, I was more confident that I could remove the cloth. Once I removed the cloth, all I could see was the clothes I was wearing. It is a little odd being a vampire. At least it was a full moon night outside my window. You can see each dent and crater that dots the Moon’s surface. It wa quiet and peaceful, the sound of nocturnal creatures was music. I woke up, back in reality ad back in my room.
Mirrors part 2 (sleep) 10/24/2025
The sounds of nocturnal creatures was a good reminder. Although I couldn’t see anything, I knew exactly where I was located. I listened to try to locate how far these animals were to measure if I had enough room to stand up. I didn’t feel comfortable with standing, so I tried to feel around for anything useful. I found what felt like a flashlight, so I tried to turn it on. With a working flashlight, I could see that I was at the bottom of a gigantic bat cave.
I was able to shine the light against one of serial large mirrors placed around the room. I tried to aim it so it would bounce off the next mirror. It was not working as I thought it would work. So I had to climb up to the mirror to adjust it. When I touched the mirror I felt like I connected to something ancient and massive. There was a light purple and blueish hue glowing from the mirrors oval edge. Once I touched it, I was back in my bed in reality.
