Fears and Phobias

Fears and phobias (sleep) 10/2/2025:
I still have some fears and phobias, like my fear of failure. I do fear some animals, but natural predators are dangerous, like mountain lions. I used to fear snakes, then I saw a video that talked about how some snakes move like they are walking. To face my fears and phobias, I try to do what scares me. I didn’t finish a project, and at first, I wasn’t okay with it. I understood that everything cannot be completely like we want.
I was sitting on the edge of a ledge in twilight. I could hear the screams of people dying below me. The top of the walls stretches up into the sky, while being completely smooth. Death doesn’t scare me; it is the pain before death that scares me. I took a leap of faith and jumped into the void. It was like slow-mo; time was nothing.
I woke up in my bed and back in reality. I hope that this dream does mean something important. It was really strange to me.
Fears and phobias part 2 (sleep and nap) 10/3/2025:
I was in complete darkness, but that doesn’t scare me. It is the unknown that is waiting in the darkness that scares me. I could hear people being killed violently all around me. I lay on the ground and tried to stay as quiet as possible. Then silence; deep, infinite silence everywhere. Loud crashing sounds made me jump a little, but I did my best not to make a sound.
I felt a sharp stab of pain in my chest. I guess it could smell and/or sense my presence. I opened my eyes to reality, so I checked my chest, and I was fine. Later in the day, when I closed my eyes for a nap, I was back in complete darkness. I carefully felt around me. Once I knew I was safe, I got up and tried to find something like a wall.
I found something like a light stitch against a wall. I tried to turn it on, but nothing happened. Maybe I’m blind, or it doesn’t work. I found another light switch, but I could hear something like a trap door open when I turned it on. So, I will keep that off, but I will remember that it is here for later use if needed. I continued to follow the wall, then it made a right turn, so I stopped to feel the ground.
By placing my feet against the wall, I can reach out further into the wider space I found. I got back to the wall and followed the right turn it made. The wall made a left turn, so I took my time feeling the corner for any clues to where I was. I woke up feeling lost but rested. I know that I made it back to reality safely.
