Jump back into action as Detective Novak and their team find more clues to the dark deeds of the CULT. The CULT are not taking any prisoners, as they drop bodies like flies. More murders mean more details you can't miss. The world around you is more than pipes and metal. More bodies do get us more evidence and clues. How many lives will it cost us? When will we catch the killers?

“Eons agone, these lands were rife with Gods and their adherents. What befell this pantheon? Alas. 'Tis the nature of beasts to forget, and of Gods to be forgotten. Mayhap they left. Mayhap they slept. Mayhap they devoured and were devoured in turn. Those few who remained spread roots, spun webs, molded this world to meet them and theirs. 'Twere a land of many Gods once. Hundreds. Now...” Contributors to Cult of the Lamb Wiki. “Haro.” Cult of the Lamb Wiki, Fandom, Inc., 11 Aug. 2022, cult-of-the-lamb.fandom.com/wiki/Haro#:~:text=%22Eons%20agone%2C%20these%20lands%20were,Now...%22 . Footprints: chapter 1

{I was in a room filled with flowers and cards wishing me well and a full recovery. I wasn’t connected to anything this time, and the room felt more calming. I got up and looked out the window. I was in the sick bay in sector six. I was glad to be back in reality, but I had questions. A few people in suits came in; they all wore a UC (Universal Council) badge. One stepped forward and explained that my surgery worked, and they were taking me to meet my team.}

{I was placed in a wheelchair by hospital staff, and the suits escorted me out of one part of the sick bay. The suits stopped just near the doors, and I could hear K9 Rai running up at full speed. The rest of the team was not far behind them. Chef Knox had to slow down Rai before they collided with my hospital bed. After I hugged everyone, I asked about the length I was asleep. Gale Moon told me that I was asleep for a week, and I didn’t miss anything important. UC has confirmed my status as GNOS (Galactic Network of Species), so I need to do the tour of Auora Fade (AF) soon.}

{The hair on the back of my neck stood on end for a second or two. I was being watched, and not by the staff or the suits standing nearby. This was definitely not over with the top members of the Blackwood Moon Cult. } (**I, being the writer, wanted to place you back into the action.**){We made it down to the Temple before Rai started getting very alert and on guard, like they could tell something was off. Rege Indigo and I had a similar feeling when we exchanged looks with each other. Chef, Gale, and Rege pulled out their weapons while Blair August and my cousins guarded me.}

{Two nurses turned the corner, and they smiled when they saw me as if they were looking for me. They looked familiar to me, but I wasn’t sure if I was right or not. The taller one had wings and a click board, with a wheel as its way of getting around. The other one was part whale and part robot; they had a bowl device on their head and covered their gills. Once Chef locked eyes with them, they stopped smiling and looked scared. Chef approached him and they whispered for a few minutes, with Chef shouting at them at a few points.}

******

[Chef] Novak, these nurses are your guides around Auora Fade. They received the wrong location, so they went looking for us and you. Please introduce yourselves to Novak, so we can start our tour.

[Nurse Prya] (*This nurse is tall and has bird wings, that change from warm to cool colors due to mood changes.*) Hello, my name is Prya, I am excited to finally meet you.

[Nurse Alaric] (*This nurse was part whale and part robot; they had a bowl device on their head and covered their gills*) My name is Alaric, and we will have so much fun together.

[Novak Loki] Hello, I do have some questions. Starting with, how many people are coming on this tour?

[Nurse Prya] Sadly, it can only be NOS members during your tour. After you get settled in, we can set up visitors for you. Most people take a week, but I feel that you will be faster. (*Rai was growling at the nurses; they didn’t like them for some reason. I have only seen this behavior from Rai when they are around criminals.*)Is the dog yours, Novak?

[Chef] No, Rai is my K9. So stay where you are. I know you’ll do great, Novak. After you've settled in, we can make a plan to meet up as a team.

[Novak] Thank you, Chef. You can calm down, Rai, I can take care of myself. (*I hugged everyone before rolling up to the nurses.*)Let’s get this tour started, and please lead the way.

{We walked to an elevator and before the transfer, I waved at my team, and they waved back. They both took the first second we were on the other side to tie me down to the chair. I noticed that Nurse Prya’s clipboard was a list of people with some crossed off, but my name was circled. I have a feeling that they have been waiting for me; the date on the list was a couple of months ago. I was hoping they would forget to tape down my tail, but they did that last. They also had the liberty of duct-taping my mouth; this was not going to plan.}

{Nurse Alaric made sure the restraints were just tight enough to hurt a little, keeping me in line. Once I was tied down, they moved fast to get me to the second deck. We walked past large storage units before getting to the elevators. The second deck has smaller to medium-sized rooms for more personal and smaller meetings for NOS members. The room was labeled “I”, and both nurses knocked a few times together before the door opened. Inside, a robed being was waiting under the Cult’s symbol.}

{The nurses turned me around before I could see who was under the robe. They spoke in a language I had never heard before, which sounded ancient and complex. I was praying to all the Gods available, if they want to kill me, they have every advantage to do so. I can hear the robed person become angrier and louder, and then I hear my restraints pop. I ran out the door and down the hall without a second thought, and I ran as fast as possible. I made it to the elevators and transferred to the third deck, where I could hide in a storage unit.}

{I waited a few minutes before pulling out my flashlight to look around the unit. Dusty bins and boxes were stacked halfway up the walls, but the skeleton, which remained against a filing cabinet, scared me. I guessed that they were locked in here by the scratches on the doors. I also guessed that they were in here around forty years ago, by the clothes. Some boxes were labeled backup ammo, while others were labeled in a foreign language. I took the risk of opening one of the foreign crates, and it was filled with grenades.}

{I was not interested in grenades; I needed to find a tool to break the lock. I could hear someone opening the unit from the outside, so I jumped behind the crates. A UC member grabbed a crate of ammo and left the unit, but didn't lock the unit. I carefully left the unit and headed for the elevators. Checking my watch, it was time to meet with other GNOS members on the first deck. Although I didn't get my robe yet, I can explain my appearance to them.}

{I appeared in the back of the room, and a few members stared at me as if I didn't belong there. A reptile-like alien reached out to shake my hand. It was a relief that someone was on my side; they had three green eyes and two long tails. They introduced themself as Tierra, and they spoke with Chef about my transfer to GNOS. Hearing this made me trust them a little. I wanted to learn more about Tierra first.}

{Once I found my seat next to Tierra in third seating on the right. A wave of anxiety and nervousness was trying to take over me and my body. Tierra held my hand and smiled at me as if to tell me that everything was okay without saying a word. Tierra’s smile quickly changed, so I turned around to see why. Aether and Vash were wearing matching color theme outfits, and I know that everyone noticed how expensive they tried to look. Tierra was even faster at hitting me in the face with a mask, but I was grateful and a little offended.}

{The room quieted down as Vash and Aether set up a presentation on the stage in the front of the room. Aether started with how they would use the new four chairs in NOS (not knowing I took a seat, so it would be three now), trying to come off as persuasive but they were more assertive. Vash looked like they were trying to keep an animal from coming out of their suit jacket. Their next point was that the Cult had enough members to be valid for the GNOS positions. Confirming numbers across BN and AF first, then the rest of the ships had smaller numbers. This made me sick to my stomach; this would be harder than planned.}
