1. 

   Desert Life Update 7/6/2026

   1. The air is hot and dry. You can cook eggs on anything, even the street. If you’re not careful you will cook too. Having enough water is one problem, but that is if you can find water. 

   2. You can eat cacti or wild life, but only if you have the right skills. Some weapons are overkill. Simple weapons will miss. Life is small and fast in the desert. 

   3. The first people that were here is still a mystery. The writers of history will only write the part they like the most. I have lived in the desert for 24 and a half years now. Every year, the heat tests my limits and strength. 

   4. I fear what will come this year. It is early in the summer. Even the mountains look like they got a tan from the Sun. Will you survive? 

2. Dream Catcher Problem 7/7/2026

   1. Spider webs can be useful and catch lots of prey. The problem is when that prey can attack or escape, right? No. The problem is when the prey begs for its life. 

   2. The first few seconds are important for the long-term. You must kill and tie down the prey at the same time. Some prey will fight to the death to get free. Once they stop moving in the cocoon, you can eat. 

   3. If they get free, they will attack you. Eat or be eaten, that is life and death. From mice to us humans, all life understands how it works. There are times that one must act like prey to find food. 

   4. I let go of my web a long time ago. I have learned to float with the air. If I find a web, I go around it. Life cannot slow me down now. 

3. Happiness 7/8/2026

   1. It is more than saying “hello” or a smile. It is deep inside the soul of everyone. It comes from knowing and having a complete feeling. Happiness is hard to keep in this day and age. 

   2. You learn to enjoy the small events in life. For example, waking up rested or finding something cool. People can share happiness, but that is a very small number of people. True love has the strongest love boost. 

   3. One can say that this world is built on the suffering of others. It doesn’t have to be that way. We can live in lasting peace. We have to want to maintain peace. 

   4. I find happiness in making art. For example, music, crafts, writing, and magic. Each day I try to show change in my fashion. Some get it and others ask odd questions. 

   5. I wonder what the future will be like. Will happiness live on? I hope so and I am working on it. In time the future will become the present day. 

4. High Mountain 7/9/2026

   1. Dark rock points high in the sky. Sharp edges stabbed at the living. One wrong more and you will meet death. The valley is bare and dry. 

   2. Note even one cloud in the sky above. Just small brushes and wild trees. Bumper-to-bumper traffic stretched out for miles. The heat is cooking me and my stuff while the line moves slowly. 

   3. Cars, trucks, and bikes are all heading in the same direction. Counting whatever goes by to waste time. Endless desert around us, as far as the eye can see. Some mountains reach higher than others. 

   4. The land is vast and wide. How much of the world can we explore? As we get closer to home, the hours seem longer. Each minute takes its time to press by. 

   5. Why? I don’t know, maybe to get under my skin.
