Mountain Castle
I woke up inside a stone pit, and it was a long way up to the top. I could hear people talking but I didn’t understand the language. After a few minutes, they drop a rope dowm to me. I was terrified of what would happen next, but I can fight my way out up there much better then down here. I tied myself with the rope and pulled on it. They pulled me out of the pit, and just stared at me.
Once I was untied they two men that helped me, pointed to a large castle in the distance on a mountain. I guess that’s the way out of here. I walked past them, they said nothing. Once I got a block away I turned around to see nothing but the pit I came from behind me. Before turning back I closed my eyes and outstretched my hands.
I am more comfortable with losing my hands before losing my life. I have seen a lot of scary films and movies follow this series of events. After a couple of minutes, I opened one eye to see what was out there. I was completely alone, so I was able to exhale. I made it to the base of the mountain when I felt a chill go down my spine. My senses were telling me to run and to not look back.
So I started from with a slow jog. I started really running when I felt something breathe onto my back. I run up the mountain at a steady pace so I didn’t exhausted myself. I made it to the huge double castle doors. I decided it was best to climb up a near by tree to see if anyone was inside the castle gate walls. I climbed till I was high enough, to see that there were a few people inside.
I waited till someone else comes to the gates. It didn’t take long to happen. A farmer pulling a huge pile of hay came up to the gate. I jumped from the tree to the hay pile. I watched as we went past all the armored guards. I jumped out once the farmer stopped inside the horse stable. That’s all I can remember before waking up back in reality.
