{It took a few minutes to get into the vent, but once inside I started crawling towards the sounds of conversation. I came to a fork in the vents and there were lights in both paths. I had a copy of the air ducts, but the hologram was static and hard to see where the fans were. I have to go with my gut instinct and go to the left air duct. I crawled to a vent opening, and found myself dead center of the main GNOS chamber hall. I did my best to listen in while staying out of sight.}
{Elder Dr. Jiao-Long sat in one of the main chairs along the front wall. Their seat was in the first seating sector, in front of my seat. The students picked the first seating sector to sit down, they were all smiling. Elder Dr. Jiao-Long began with thanked the students for their hard work. They brought up tomorrow’s event, smiling with dark teeth made my skin crawl. The plan is to follow the procedure and let the ceremony go smoothly.}
{The main reason was to gather any information about me and my team. Dr. Crazy was possibly going to be in the audience as a visible sign of support. I find this plan odd but strategic to gather information. This is when Elder Dr. Jiao-Long gave me the best piece of information, the students are actually spies working for the Cult. I quickly scanned for any visible sign that I could use to see them in crowds. Then Elder Dr. Jiao-Long took off their robe, showing huge tattoos on the spiny back.}
{There was an obvious Cult tattoo on one side of the back. The other tattoo was much different; it had arrows, dots, and a circle in the middle. The details were clear even with all the wrinkles, freckles, and mechanics. Elder Dr. Jiao-Long stretched and I was amazed how hunched over they have become with time and age. At peak stretch they were about eight to nine feet tall, I am about five feet tall at my highest. Then I saw Aza talking along the wall behind Elder Dr. Jiao-Long.}
{Aza began to mock Elder Dr. Jiao-Long as they discuss the rise in members. If I laugh I will blow my cover, but Aza was hilarious. Then from a hidden door, a few black robes walked onto the stage. Bodhi and Rune removed their hoods and kissed Elder Dr. Jiao-Long’s right hand. Elder Dr. Jiao-Long handed each of them golden sashes, wrapping it around their waists. They added that their perfect skill in killing enemy spies was enough to be promoted.}
{The other four in the group had gold and other colors wrapped around them. I have a feeling I was in a room filled with trained killers without a weapon or backup. Elder Dr. Jiao-Long asked for a few spies to come forward, picking one named Kane. Kane was ordered to befriend my team and learn information about what we have and know. If Kane’s true plan is revealed, then Kane could act accordingly. My guess from that last statement is to kill anyone in the way for the plan’s success.}
